Yes folks, after more than 60 hours in the Cardiac Care Unit of Columbia Presbyterian I was discharged on my own recognizance. As I was walking out I heard one of the wonderful staff comment how rare it is to see a patient walk out of the CCU.
I would like to thank all the staff at Columbia Presbyterian. Alas I am so awful at remembering names I am going to credit them under the aegis of Dr.’s Rosenbaum and Garan. I feel good as new right now and am looking forward to my surgery in Feb.
