An Update…A Date and a Stabbing Pain!

In an unexpected development: On the very same day I scheduled the Pulmonary Valve replacement surgery (Feb 15th by the way) I was stricken by an excruciating pain, a stabbing burning pain, in my left thigh. While this is something I have been experiencing since around the cateterization last month; it was far worse today (as well as radiating down below the knee.)

Dr. Rosenbaum suggested I come in to see him. After an exam I was referred for an Ultrasound of the leg. While I was now convinced that it was no longer a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) it was better to rule everything out. It was in this dimly lit lab bewalled with motivational posters and Monet prints that I waited to hear the radiologist give me the all clear.

An actual photograph of the actual sonogram of my actual leg.

For those in the know I have photographs of the actual test is attached…see any clots? Email me at TravelerBill@TravelerBill.com!

Contest update-
*Steve D. proffered his 2nd entry by pointing out how mid-February is the perfect time of year to mend a broken heart. (This entry receives an asterisk for the cow-ardly manner in which he eschewed the bovine theme.)

UPDATE 9:00PM
It was not a DVT, or worse a blot clot. It is an aneurysm of the artery. I am going back to the doctor tomorrow morning to receive an injection of some medical hoo-doo that will resolve the whole jibber-jabber.

  1. Given the rate at which you are deteriorating, may I suggest eschewing your present physician and instead seeking the reconstructive help of Darth Sidious?
